Following the police investigation, a prosecutor’s statement was filed today (Thursday) against three minors, residents of Netanya on suspicion of stabbing and injuring two other minors moderately inside a bus while returning from recreation.

About a week and a half ago, a report was received in the youth department of the Netanya police station about two minors aged 15 who were moderately injured after being stabbed by other minors.

The investigation revealed that the two minors spent time in a youth club in Herzliya, where a quarrel broke out between them and another minor over bullying.

The minor reported to his brother about the quarrel at the club, and the latter along with two of his friends waited for the shuttle bus that took the minors back from the pastime near the main station in the city. There, the three suspects (city residents aged 16-17) attacked the two minors, stabbing, moderately injuring them and threatening their lives.

Immediately upon receipt of the report, intensive investigative actions were carried out, following which the police arrested two of the suspects and a third suspect was arrested three days ago.

The suspects’ detention was extended from time to time and at the same time the investigation team collected incriminating evidence against the suspects. This morning, a prosecutor’s statement was filed in a court in Petah Tikva against the three suspects for the charge attributed to them.
