Pallavaram: Lakshmi, 76, a resident of Malaimedu, Cantonment Pallavaram, was in the business of giving money on interest. Yesterday morning he did not come out of the house for a long time. When her granddaughter Dhanalakshmi, who was suspicious, entered the house, she found Lakshmi unconscious in a pool of blood. He was rescued and Chrompet was admitted to the government hospital.
