Beijing:
Pakistan’s senior troop delegation visited China from July 9 to 12 to discuss various issues with senior officials of the Chinese military and other government departments.
As part of this, Pakistani Army Commander General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Chinese Army General Zhang Yuxing to discuss international and regional security conditions.
It has been reported that the Chinese government has urged the Pakistani military commander to stop the attack targeting their own people working on the China-Pakistan economic corridor in Pakistan’s Balochistan.
The talks also discussed the Baloch rebels’ continued targeting of China’s infrastructure projects such as gas pipelines and power towers.
Islamabad police have reportedly decided to set up a foreign security unit at the Central Police Office with the necessary personnel and equipment to prevent attacks on Chinese people.
