Attempt to launch satellite into space: Iran fails again

Tehran: Iran launched a rocket last Thursday. However, attempts to place the satellite carrying the rocket in Earth orbit failed.

In 2015, Iran signed a nuclear non-proliferation treaty with the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, France, China and Germany. The key element of the agreement is that the United States and Western nations will gradually lift sanctions on Iran if it abandons its nuclear weapons program.

The deal was struck during the Obama administration in the United States. But Trump, who became president after him, did not accept the deal. He announced in 2018 that the United States would withdraw from the agreement. This has been followed by a confrontation between the United States and Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran is interested in implementing space programs. Iran launched a rocket in February last year. But the Jaber satellite, which was detached from the rocket, failed to stay in orbit. In recent times, the rockets have been flying in the sky and Iran has been facing failures.

Following this, Iran launched a satellite with 3 devices last Thursday with a new rocket called Phoenix. Will this satellite be placed in Earth orbit? The question was. In this situation, Iran has again failed in its attempt to place the satellite in Earth orbit.

The rocket went at a speed of only 7,350 meters, in a situation where it had to travel at a speed of 7,600 meters per second to enter the Earth’s orbit with the satellite. As a result, the Iranian government says an attempt by a satellite rocket to stop it from orbiting the Earth has failed.
