Saudi Arabia: Six people have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for trying to smuggle doping pills into the country by hiding them in elevator parts and equipment. This was reported by the Directorate General of Narcotics Control. The test found 456,000 intoxicating pills.

Tests are being carried out continuously to detect drug networks entering the country. During a search conducted last day, the drugs were found to be smuggled into the country. Two of the arrested suspects are Saudi nationals. One is a Syrian citizen and the other three are Egyptian citizens. They were arrested in Jeddah and Riyadh. The accused were handed over to the public prosecution.

Saudi Arabia is making strong efforts to find the culprits who are trying to destroy the country’s youth by becoming drug addicts and to find such social evils. The Home Ministry is also working with the Tax and Customs Authority to crack down on such groups if they grow in the country.
