In an alleged attempt to kidnappinga businessman was shot aboard his luxury truck in the Balvanera Industrial Park in the municipality of Corregidora, Querétaroleaving two people injured.
According to initial reports from municipal authorities, the businessman was traveling through the industrial zone aboard a Rolls Royce van when he was attacked with firearms, so his bodyguards repelled the attack.

Upon noticing the injured people, the businessman and a bodyguard, the driver of the armored truck drove the vehicle to the vicinity of the St. Joseph Hospitallocated in the state capital, for prompt medical attention.
Municipal police personnel, from the State Prosecutor’s Office and of the Mexican Army They met at the place where the attack occurred to secure the scene and begin investigations; while the area near the hospital where the businessman’s truck was left was also cordoned off by the authorities.
An alleged crime is circulating on social media video of the exact moment of the attack on the businessman, in which a man, sheltered next to a truck, records the scene where he watches a bodyguard repel the attack while covering himself with the door of a white truck and the shots are heard.

Investigations indicate that the affected person was Jesus Calderon Jr.., a businessman in the plastics sector in Querétaro, who received four bullet wounds that did not endanger his life and is in a hospital receiving medical attention.
