An attempted murder occurred Sunday evening in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough in Montreal. A man was injured in the lower body.
At around 6:30 p.m., gunshots were heard on rue Salaberry, near rue James Morrice in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
A man was hit by at least one projectile from a firearm in the lower body. He was transported to a hospital center. “He was conscious during his transport,” said the spokesperson for the Montreal Police Department, Jean-Pierre Brabant.
A perimeter has been erected. Investigators are on their way to analyze the scene.
