The government is providing free three-phase electricity to farmers in Tamil Nadu. In this situation, the power board has issued an announcement regarding the time of electricity supply.
In it, “In the delta districts, three-phase electricity is to be provided by dividing into two sections namely Group 1 and Group 2 in each sub-station. Three-phase electricity will be provided for 6 hours from 8.30 am to 2.30 am in the morning to both the Group 1 and Group 2 areas in Delta areas.
At night, three-phase electricity will be provided to Group 1 area from 12 midnight to 6 am and to Group 2 area from 11 pm to 5 am.

In non-delta districts three-phase power will be provided to Group 1 area from 9 am to 3 am and night time from 10 am to 4 am and in non-delta districts to Group 2 area from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm and 10 pm to night time. It has also been mentioned that three-phase electricity will be provided till 4 am.
