In Chiapas, a total of 16,668 people have the opportunity to convert their Infonavit credits from times minimum wages to pesos, and as of July 2023, more than 11,000 people have already benefited from this conversion. This provides certainty to workers to plan their family finances. The interest rate is fixed, ranging between 1.0% and 10.45%, depending on income level. In addition, the payment of the employer contribution is paid directly to the capital of the debt in case of having an employment relationship.

Infonavit also highlights that there are social collection solutions, and the monthly payment does not change if the payment is made through the employer or directly at a bank window. Therefore, it is urged not to wait any longer and make the change, which can be done in My Infonavit Account.

It is important to note that this program is permanent, and the window to carry out the conversion opens on the ninth of each month.
