On this day, the Attorney General of the FGR, Rodolfo Delgado, stated that the institution’s investigation into the Jesuit Case has concluded and it is expected that it will go to trial after presenting the evidence before the investigating judge.
“We are in a situation where we have managed to establish that the massacre was planned within the general staff,” the Attorney General said in a televised interview.
According to the official, during the investigation the FGR managed to obtain the documents that were used to write the report of the Truth Commission, the Documents that they believed destroyed, however, there was a copy of them.
“35 years have elapsed where what has happened is an imitation of the process and that they only wanted someone to pay for those murders, to try to wash the image of who was the mastermind,” added Rodolfo Delgado.
