It continues in November and December ‘Circo Maximo Experience’, the immersive visit in augmented and virtual reality of the Circus Maximus, the largest building for the spectacle of antiquity and one of the largest of all time. You will be able to ‘see’ the ancient Murcia Valley enriched with buildings, you will walk among the shops of the time, witnessing a chariot race between shouts of incitement and overturning of chariots, up to stand in front of the Arch of Titus about twenty meters high, reconstructed in augmented reality and in full scale before your eyes.

Visits will take place from Sunday until December 30th Saturday and Sunday from 11.05 to 15.20 (last admission), excluding the first Sundays of the month (7 November and 5 December) and Christmas Day. At the same time, visitors can also take advantage of the visit on Wednesday 8 December Feast of the Immaculate Conception and on 21-22-23-28-29-30 December. There immersive visit, lasting about 40 minutes, is itinerant and develops within the archaeological area on a path of 8 observation points, using specific viewers.

The project is promoted by Roma Culture, the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage, organized by Zetema Progetto Cultura and implemented by Gs Net Italia and Inglobe Technologies. The scientific direction is by the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage. Thanks to augmented and virtual reality, the visitor can totally immerse himself in the history of the archaeological site with the vision of the architectural and landscape reconstructions along all its historical phases: from the first and simple wooden construction, to the glories of the imperial age, from the Middle Ages to the early decades of the twentieth century.
