Àuria Perfumes invests two million euros in implementing the ‘full service’ model

Àuria Perfumes reorganizes its structure. The Barcelona cooperative, specialized in the manufacture of perfumes and fragrances for the home, has invested two million euros to reorganize its internal structure by creating the division Private Label.

In 2021, the company only operated as contract manufacturing and now has extended its services to full service. This new division is focused on the complete service for third parties, including the creation of perfume collections, from the branding and even the design of the fragrance, going through the production, packaging, handling and delivery of the final product.

The investment will be used to adapt the facilities and machinery of the cooperative. Also, The company will also create a new area and incorporate new strategic profiles in the departments of design, marketing, R&D, Innovation and supply chain.

“We hope that the results of the strategic change will be reflected in the sales registered in 2023”, said Albert Piñol, general director of Àuria Perfumes, in a statement. The company’s plans go through registering a turnover of 17 million euros, exceeding the manufacture of 25 million units of perfumes.

The cooperative closed 2021 with sales of 15 million euros and will base its growth for this year on consolidating its presence on a national scale and in continuing to promote its internationalization.

The company has an industrial production plant with a surface area of ​​10,500 square meters located in Igualada (Barcelona), which already has a team of 430 people, 35 employees more than in 2021.

Àuria Perfumes started in 2008 specializing in the development, manufacture and packaging of perfumes and cosmetics. The company concentrates its production on the manufacture of fragrances for third parties, including distribution chains and children’s fashion brands. In addition, the company also operates internationally, focusing its activity on the European market.
