Brisbane: Aussie opener David Warner may not play against India in the ICC’s official warm-up match ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup. The match will be played at the Gabba on October 17. Warner suffered a neck injury while fielding in the second T20I against England. But captain Aaron Finch also stated that Warner will play in the second warm-up match against New Zealand on October 19.

It seems that Warner will be ready for the match against New Zealand. But I am not sure about the match against India. Warner was fine the day after his neck injury, but the day after that he was in pain and trouble. So Warner is eagerly waiting for his recovery. Warner will play if he regains fitness.
