/ At 2:30 pm today, Tuesday, two matches were held in the third round of the second group of the 2023 Asian Football Cup, which is currently taking place in Qatar.

In the first match, the Syrian national team played against its Indian counterpart, and the match was held at Al Bayt Stadium.

Syria’s goal came through Omar Khribin in the 67th minute of the match. With this victory, the Syrian national team strengthened its chances of reaching the round of 16 of the Asian Championship as the best third-placed team after finishing third with 4 points, while India left the tournament in fourth place with zero points.

In the same group, the Australian team tied with the Uzbekistan team with a score of 1-1, and the match was held at Al Janoub Stadium.

Australia and Uzbekistan qualified for the round of 16 after Australia topped the group with 7 points and Uzbekistan came in second with 5 points.
