The traditional Ashes series between Australia and England is taking place in Australia. Australia win the first two matches of the five-match Ashes Test series 2-0.
The England team, which has played poorly in the first two matches, has been batting poorly in the ongoing Boxing Day Test in Melbourne starting on the 26th. Australia won the toss and elected to field, but were bowled out for 185 in the first innings. Only team captain Joe Root scored a fifty. He was also dismissed for 50. After trailing by 82 runs, England’s batsmen, who started the second innings of the 3rd season of today’s 2nd day match, are once again suffering badly. Jack Crowley was bowled out for 5 by Mitchell Starc, while Haseeb Hameed was bowled out for 7 by Poland. David Malan and Jack Leach, who then came on the field, both ducked out without hitting a run. While the England batsmen are batting poorly, the England bowlers are bowling immensely.
England lost 4 wickets for 22 runs. With Joe Root and Ben Stokes on the field, Day 2 ended the game. At the end of the 2nd day England team scored 31 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. With England still trailing by 51 runs, they still have only 6 wickets in hand. With that said, how many runs are scored over these 51 runs will be the target for Australia. So the Australian team has no chance of scoring more than a maximum of 100-150 runs. So the chances of the Australian team winning this match are bright.
