The Ashes is a traditional Test series between Australia and England. The Ashes Test series is similar to the World Cup for Australia and England. So in the Ashes series both countries will be playing with the desire to win hard. But watching England play in this ongoing Ashes series in Australia does not seem to be playing with fun.

The 2020-2021 Ashes series takes place in Australia. In the first match of the five-Test Ashes series, England lost by 9 wickets after batting and bowling poorly. The Australian team dominated the whole of England and won a resounding victory.

The second Test starts on December 16. It’s a daytime Test match in Adelaide. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first, declaring 473 for 9 in the first innings.

Batting first, Australia’s David Warner (95) and Steve Smith (93) both missed centuries, while Marnus Lapushen, who scored a century, was dismissed for 103. Alexis Carey (51), Mitchell Starc (39) and Michael Nesser (35) all played well, while Travis Head (18) and Cameron Green (2) were all out for a paltry 473 for nine. Declared the first inning.

England’s openers Haseeb Hameed (6) and Rory Burns (4) were bowled out for 17 in the first innings.

Joe Root and David Malone continued today’s game on Day 3. They both added 138 runs for the 3rd wicket. With both of them scoring half-centuries, Root was out for 62 and Malan for 80, after which England’s batting order plummeted. Stokes then went on to score 34 and Vokes 24. England were all out for just 236 in the first innings as Ali Pope and Jose Butler disappointed.

Mitchell Starc top-scored for Australia with 4 wickets and Nathan Lyon took 3 wickets. The Australian team is leading the 2nd innings with a lead of 237 runs.
