Austria tightened the entry rules from December 20 because of Omikron – coronavirus

Vienna – Austria tightened its entry regulations to curb the Omikron variant. The new regulation will come into force next Monday, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday evening. In future, only travelers with valid 2G proof will be allowed to travel to Austria. Anyone who has been vaccinated or recovered must also be able to prove a current PCR test or their third stab in order to avoid quarantine.
