Defense Minister Yoav Galant decided to deny the entry permits to Israel of the three senior Palestinian Authority officials, including Abu Mazen’s deputy, who visited the celebrations of the released terrorist Karim Younes. Younes, one of the murderers of the soldier Avraham Bromberg and veteran security prisoners in Israel, was released a few days ago after many years in prison.

This evening, the Minister of Defense instructed the coordinator of government operations in the territories, Major General Rasan Aliyan, to deny the entry permit to Israel from the three senior Palestinian Authority officials: Mahmoud al-Alul, Azzam al-Ahmed and Vahi Tafut.

The Defense Minister’s office explained that the decision was made after consultation with all relevant security officials. “It should be emphasized that the three took advantage of their status and entered Israel this morning to visit the home of terrorist Karim Younes, who was released from prison this week after serving 40 years in prison for the murder of the late soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980,” the minister said in a statement.
