Auto Compara, Santander Brasil’s (BVMF:) automotive insurance digital platform, will start selling insurance from Aliro, a Liberty insurance brand that offers policies with tighter coverage than traditional ones. This type of product has been the bet of brokers and insurers in the country for the sale of automotive protection in digital channels.

The bank expects to increase Auto Compara’s monthly insurance sales by more than 10% under the new agreement. The portal already has partnerships with seven other brands, such as Allianz (ETR:), HDI and Mapfre, and allows customers to quote and compare the different offers and then purchase the insurance of their choice.

“Auto Compara is democratizing access to auto insurance with more and more options for all customer profiles”, says Ronaldo Rondinelli, CEO of Auto Compara. The portal’s objective is to bring the insurance offer to 100% of the public that lists on the platform.

“Aliro is a simplified, flexible insurance with an attractive cost”, also says in a note the commercial manager of the insurance project, Leslie Cristine.
