Automotive parts increased in price by 27.7% on average between March 19 and December 18. This was reported by the portal Autonews with reference to the data of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA).

The increase in prices for spare parts for some car brands that left Russia or suspended their work in the country amounted to 50-60%. For body parts (doors, hood, bumpers, optics, etc.), the price increase reached 70%. This is due to the fact that, as a rule, body parts must be ordered from the manufacturer, but it is not so easy to arrange their delivery through parallel imports, writes Autonews.

At the same time, spare parts for domestically produced cars went up the least. According to insurers, their prices rose by only 10-12%.

It is specified that the largest jump in prices occurred in June, after which they began to stabilize and decline. At the same time, after October 19, insurers noted that prices began to rise for some parts that had not risen in price until then. This may be due to the fact that stocks are running out while parallel imports for these parts are still not established. In particular, during this period, headlights for Nissan Murano went up the most, prices for which increased by 197.74% – from 49,021 rubles. in October to 145,956 rubles. in December.
