Vesta in a sedan body became more expensive immediately by 170,000 rubles, the SW Cross modification – by 289,000 rubles. Passenger Largus increased in price by 247,000 rubles. A spokesman for AvtoVAZ declined to comment.
The Japanese Suzuki also notified dealers of a rise in price for Jimny and Vitara models by 20,000 rubles from March 1, dealers of the brand told Vedomosti. Audi, Mercedes and Hyundai are also planning to update the price tags in the near future, says a source in Avtospetstsentr. Hyundai also suspended the shipment of cars to dealers, Vedomosti’s interlocutor in another dealer holding said.
