Tirupati: “Setting up a world-class museum in Tirumala and modernizing the Lattu making process through automation, are the major twin projects this year,” said Devasthan Executive Officer Dharmareddy.
On the occasion of the country’s 74th Republic Day, Executive Officer Dharma Reddy said after hoisting the national flag at the Gokulam Illa complex in Tirumala yesterday:
Tata Trust has proposed to set up a museum with more than 4,000 artefacts in Tirumala at a cost of Rs 120 crore.
Similarly, the ‘Reliance’ Group has agreed to manufacture Lattes automatically at a cost of Rs 50 crore.
This will increase the quality and quantity of the lats. Both these projects will be completed within a year. Accommodations in Tirumala have been 90 per cent reconstructed. The rest of the work will be completed in a few months.
For this, 230 crore rupees are being spent. Next, another complex for devotees is being constructed at a cost of 100 crore rupees. This is what he said.
