“Avatar” or “Titanic”, “Terminator” or “Aliens”? Our ranking of the best James Cameron films

by time news

James Cameron king of the world, again and again, even with his old films. The theatrical release of “Avatar” (2009) was a great hit for its first week, between September 21 and 27: 335,000 admissions, in addition to the 14.6 million French people who watched it seen between 2009 and 2010. Largely in the lead during the week of its release, the film outclassed its pursuers, such as “a beautiful race”, with Line Renaud and Dany Boon, a novelty which points to 2nd place with 180,000 admissions. Same phenomenon in the rest of the world: 30 million dollars in receipts in five days, which consolidates its position as the most viewed film in history, for 2.8 billion dollars in receipts.
