Brazil now has 46 cases of avian flu, after updating the platform of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), at 7 pm on Friday (23). Of these cases, one was detected in Antonina, Paraná, in a Trinta-réis-real, the first detection in the state.
Another three cases were confirmed in Rio de Janeiro, in birds of the Royal Trint type, in Saquarema, Queimados and São João da Barra. The State of São Paulo registered the third case in a Trinta-réis-de-bando in Ubatuba.
It is important to remember that all cases registered so far are in wild birds, since May 15, when there was the first confirmation of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the country.
