Aviation fuel price cut by 2.3%- Dinamani

Aviation Fuel (ATF) prices have been reduced by 2.3 per cent to Rs 1,17,587/kg following the drop in international fuel prices.

Jet fuel prices are revised on the 1st of every month based on the international average price situation and the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar. Following the decline in jet fuel prices internationally, its price in India has also been reduced by Rs 2,775 per kiloliter (2.3 per cent).

In Delhi, the cost of one kilo liter of jet fuel has been fixed at Rs.1,17,587. About 40 percent of the cost to companies of operating aircraft is fuel. Now that fuel prices have been reduced, airlines will benefit greatly. Aviation fuel prices were reduced by Rs 4,842 per kilo liter last month.

No change in cylinder price:

Commodity cooking gas cylinder prices have been announced to remain unchanged. The cylinder price is usually revised on the 1st of every month. After the decrease in fuel prices at the international level, the price of LPG cylinder has been reduced by 7 times (Rs. 610).

The price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi remains at Rs 1,744. Domestic cooking gas cylinder prices also remain unchanged. The price of a 14.2 kg cooking gas cylinder remains at Rs.1,053. This price varies from state to state depending on the local tax.

Petrol, Diesel Price:

No change has been made in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel are being sold at the same price for the last 8 months. In Delhi, a liter of petrol is being sold at Rs.96.72 and a liter of diesel at Rs.89.62.

Petrol price in Chennai is Rs.102.63 per liter and diesel price is Rs.94.24 per liter.
