The events took place at 10:20 a.m. and the exact circumstances in which they occurred are being investigated by the police. Several witnesses questioned by Efe who witnessed the events while they were having breakfast in an establishment in front of the building have explained that the woman took a ladder to climb out the window with the girl in her arms, while she was screaming for him not to throw her out of the window. she. And then the woman threw herself into the void with the little girl in her arms. According to witnesses, both fell and bounced on a car that was parked on the street.
The mother’s ex-partner was convicted of gender violence. And the woman was included in the Comprehensive Monitoring System in cases of Gender Violence, known as the VioGén System, since 2016 when the first complaint was made and even though the girl was a baby. She left the system in 2020 as no new complaints have been received since then. A restraining order weighed on her ex-partner until a year and a half ago.
Now, justice had just returned the visitation regime to the parent and the police sources consulted indicate that the woman had been trying for days to prevent her daughter’s father from taking her on vacation at Easter.
In fact, the victim’s father, who had a restraining order regarding his daughter’s ex-partner, was arrested last morning by the Avilés Local Police, after a violent confrontation with him in which both were injured. Several tools used in the fight were found at the scene: a baseball bat, a hammer, a kitchen knife and pepper spray.
The mother of the woman and grandmother of the minor, who lives on another floor of the building, has also been admitted to the hospital after having tried to take her own life by cutting her veins, although her life is not in danger.
