One of the people most identified with Hapoel Galil for reference is none other than Avishai Gordon, a former player and assistant coach. Today (Monday) the team announced that he will continue in the team as Barak Peleg’s assistant for another two years.

Gordon played in the Upper Galilee between 1996 and 2002, between 2004 and 2007 and between 2012 and 2015 (in addition to the period at Hapoel Gilboa / Galil between 2008 and 2012). He coached the team as head coach between 2016 and 2020.
