Aviva buys a ‘build to rent’ development in Madrid with 234 homes from Vía Ágora — idealista/news

Aviva Investors has announced the purchase promoter Via Ágora of a 234-unit residential development that is expected to be completed in mid 2025. In addition, it has indicated that it continues to develop its plataforma de ‘build to rent’ (BTR) along with Layatana.

Via Agora will continue to act as builder of the project, located in the Valdebebas area, which will offer one, two and three-bedroom apartments spread over 10 floors and two basements. It will also have views of the ‘madrid skyline and green areas.

The project aspires to achieve the BREEAM Excellent rating, method of evaluation of sustainability in building. For his part, James Wells, BTR director de Layetana, has pointed out that Valdebebas is “the most successful new area of ​​Madrid in the last 20 years”, so it is important for the platform “to include this location in our portfolio”. Thus, he has highlighted that it is a “clear signal that we are willing to continue acquiring projects that offer the necessary key fundamentals” of the company.
