Avoiding the ZBE is possible for less than 70 euros per month thanks to autogas

The Low Emission Zones (ZBE) that have entered into force on January 1, 2023 already affect more than 13 million vehicles in Spain, of which 9.3 correspond to vehicles with labels B, C; and more than 3.7 do not have any type of label, according to data from the MSI consultancy. With this new regulation, many drivers will face the possibility of being fined, while many other cars will be rendered outright unusable.

So, a alternative may be to transform their vehicles autogas, to obtain the ECO label, provided they comply with the Euro 4 regulations onwards. With this label, they can circulate without restrictions through ZBEs and park in Regulated Parking Service (SER) zones. Transformation is a simple process that can be finance for less than 70 euros per month, in 24 installments.

Specifically, the total price is 1,500 euros approximately; but in workshops like iRCONGAS, Gasmoción and Gas Point Center, for only 69.22 euros it can be done in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Seville and Alicante.

All those gasoline vehicles that comply with the Euro 4 emissions certification onwards and that, therefore, have been registered since 2006, can be converted to LPG or autogas and thus enjoy all the advantages: savings of up to 40% consumption of traditional fuels, lengthen the useful life of the engine and ease of refueling.

In addition, these types of vehicles are bi-fuel, that is, they offer a range of about 1,200 km, depending on the model, and allow you to refuel in the same time as with a conventional car at any of the more than 700 service stations that supply Autogas distributed throughout the country.
