Production of the Lada Aura business sedan may begin in August-September 2024. About this informs TASS with reference to the Avtovaz presentation presented at the IMAF forum.
The project will be successful with “confirmed stable demand”. In 2024, the company will also launch the production of the Lada Iskra, and in 2025, an urban crossover in the B+ class based on the Vesta platform.
An elongated car based on the Vesta Lada Aura model “AvtoVAZ” presented in June at the exhibition “Eurasia is our home” in Sochi. The interior of the car is made of genuine leather, its engine power is 122 hp. s., volume – 1.8 liters. The model is equipped with an automatic transmission and a premium audio system. Sokolov previously stated that the conveyor production of the car could begin in 2024, and its cost would exceed 2 million rubles.
Lada Aura has already been tested by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov during PMEF. He noted that the new model will be able to replace the foreign brands used by officials. According to him, ministry officials are ready to give up their official cars in favor of Lada Aura.
