The Russian company AvtoVAZ at its plant in Togliatti from August 16 to 20 will limit the production of cars due to a shortage of electronic components supplied by Bosch Samara. This was reported by the press service of the company.

“The shortage of electronic components supplied by Bosch Samara continues to negatively affect the production schedule at the Togliatti plant. Line 5 (Granta) will be stopped for the entire work week (16-20 August), Line 3 (Niva) will produce a limited number of cars from Monday to Thursday (16-19 August), and Line 1 (platform B0) will be work for two days (August 18-19), ”the message says (quoted by TASS).

At the same time, the Lada Izhevsk plant, where the production of Lada Vesta and Vesta SW cars is carried out, is experiencing less difficulties with a shortage of parts. The facility now plans to operate according to its normal production schedule with the existing visibility of deliveries.

On July 16, AvtoVAZ suspended production for one day on the fifth and third lines, where Lada Granta and Lada Niva cars are produced, due to interruptions in the supply of electronic components to Bosh Samara. Also, production was suspended in June this year.
