Awarded in Venice for the film on the fir trees felled in Friuli and “reborn” in Sicily

«Troiane», the project curated by the architect Stefano Boeri’s studio, wins the Venice Architecture Short Film Festival 2020, for cinematographic works dedicated to architecture | Courier TV

The short film Trojan, directed by Stefano Santamato and produced by Paolo Soravia – The Blink Fish for Stefano Boeri Architetti, tells the journey of 400 fir logs felled by the Tempesta Vaia in October 2018, from Carnia to Sicily where they were “reborn”. Here the trunks had a second life as they were the silent protagonists of the scenography signed by Stefano Boeri for the tragedy Trojan by Euripides, staged in the summer of 2019 at the Greek Theater of Syracuse.
