In a very balanced match, Basquete Tricolor defeated Pinheiros 81 to 75 this Friday, at the Henrique Villaboim gym, for the NBB. The highlights of the match were Faverani (19 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist), Fischer (16 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists) and Siewert (15 points, 5 rebounds).
The São Paulo team started the match well, with dynamic ball play and a good sequence of points, but they slowed down and the first quarter ended 20 to 19 for Pinheiros. The second period, very tight, was played point by point and ended 21 to 18 for the home team.
At the break, Bruno Mortari’s team took the lead on the scoreboard, the opponent equalized, but Tricolor scored more and the third quarter ended 22-16 for the visitors. The last stage featured a São Paulo sprint. The team remained ahead throughout the remainder of the match and the period ended 22-18 for São Paulo.
