This Saturday (30), Basquete Tricolor beat Vasco 80 to 70, at Ginásio de São Januário, in RJ, for the 32nd round of the NBB. The highlights of the match were Bennett (17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists), Fischer (16 points, 1 rebound and 5 assists) and Siewert (16 points and 5 rebounds).
In a fierce confrontation from start to finish, São Paulo took the lead and the first quarter ended 14-13 for the team from São Paulo. In the second quarter, the opponents took the lead on the scoreboard and the period ended 23 to 15 for the Rio team.
After the break, the São Paulo team looked to attack, fought to close the gap and the third stage ended 20 to 15 for Tricolor. In the last period, São Paulo remained ahead and the score ended 23 to 17 for Bruno Mortari’s team.
Following the championship, São Paulo will play the next two matches at the MorumBIS Gymnasium: against Brasília, on the 2nd (Tuesday), at 8pm, and against Cerrado, on the 4th (Thursday), also at 8pm.
