In a game valid for the third round of the Campeonato Gaúcho, the Grêmio beat Brasil de Pelotas1-0, with a goal scored by André, at the Bento de Freitas Stadium, in Pelotas.
With the result, Tricolor Gaúcho reached the six points won in the State, in third place, with two consecutive victories.
The game
In a first half of little technical inspiration, neither Grêmio nor Brazil created great opportunities to score. In the second stage, Grêmio came back better, with more momentum and scored with André, after a cross from the left. In the final stretch, Brasil de Pelotas threatened the result, with some opportunities. In fact, Grêmio’s Uruguayan goalkeeper Marchesin was forced to make major interventions.

In the league table, Grêmio has gained six points, in third place in the Campeonato Gaúcho, one point behind the leader, Internacional. Brasil de Pelotas, in turn, continues without winning in the competition and has just two points from three matches played.

Grêmio and Brasil de Pelotas return to the field next Wednesday (31), against Juventude and Caxias, respectively. Both games take place at 9:30 pm (Brasília time).
