/ The Iraqi national team striker, Ayman Hussein, said on Tuesday that he did not understand what happened and that he apologizes to the Iraqi fans for not completing their joy.
Hussein wrote on his Instagram account, which was followed by Agency, “I did not understand what happened. The moments of farewell were harsh. It was not the ending we wanted. Our dreams were far away, and our ambitions were great. They stole our dream in front of the world.”
He added, “I apologize to all the Iraqi fans, I apologize to everyone who supported us and stood with us in Doha, we apologize to you because we did not complete your joy.”
Yesterday, Monday, the Iraqi national team lost the round of 16 match in the Asian Cup against Jordan, with a score of 3-2, in a match that witnessed the expulsion of striker Ayman Al-Hussein, after celebrating scoring the second goal for the Iraqi national team in the 76th minute.
