Former member of the Knesset Ayyub Kara announces that he is retiring from politics, and publishes a harsh response to the treatment he says he received after the primaries, and after Netanyahu did not retain him in the 28th place as he demanded.
Read: “Thank you to thousands of friends who supported me to go to a just war due to my removal from the Likud list despite winning the majority of votes.”
“My fight in the courts was based on principle and not to win the humiliating place – 44 for the Druze community, I hoped with my victory to advance the slot to its natural 28th place as it had been for years and thereby return the smile to thousands of Druze officers and soldiers as I was promised by the Likud.”
“My grandfather fought for the establishment of Israel and beheaded my two uncles, my father fought in the War of Liberation and beheaded my two brothers and I was seriously injured in Lebanon and today fought. In light of this conduct towards and toward my noble race, I have decided to retire from politics.”
