Isabel Diaz Ayuso she refused to attend the meeting with the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez to which she had been summoned next Friday 25th.

The second vice president, Iolanda Diazcriticized the president of the Community of Madrid for refusing to meet Pedro Sánchez and for not fulfilling her responsibility to foster cooperation between administrations. “Of course, I would like the president of the Community of Madrid to respect her constitutional mandates,” he also said, Minister of Labor.

The Cabinet of the President of the Government contacted the Cabinet of the President of the Community of Madrid last Friday, 18 October, requesting a visit to La Moncloa next Friday, 25 October.
This morning it was announced that the president is rejecting this visit for various reasons.
1. Because it takes place within the framework of a cycle of meetings following the negotiation of the dissolution of the common Treasury of all Spaniards with the independent partners of the Government. A pact that will be lethal for the rule of law, the unity of Spain and solidarity between the regions. Therefore, this decision cannot be considered valid on the basis of fait accomplis which were never consulted neither with the regional presidents nor with the Spanish people in any electoral programme. You can’t normalize what isn’t normal. A number of destructive decisions have been made since the last general election, the negative effects of which will take a long time to reverse.
2. Less than 24 hours before La Moncloa’s call, the Prime Minister defamed the President on an official trip to Brussels, with very serious accusations that were along the same lines as his speech, the day before, at the Congress of Deputies. Ministers have been ordered to repeat them in the last few hours, in an unacceptable and inappropriate campaign by one government against an inferior administration. This situation had never happened before either. The institutional deterioration to which Spain is subjected cannot be ignored.
For all this, the president decided not to cancel her agenda this Friday and to continue with the event that she had been organizing for weeks in Porriño, Galicia, with several other institutions.
