Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav; ICC with diverse programs in Qatar

Doha: As part of the 75th anniversary of Independence, the Indian Cultural Center is organizing a variety of programs in conjunction with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Indian community in Qatar is gearing up for a 19-day mega carnival starting tomorrow

Indian Ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal will inaugurate the celebrations at ICC Ashoka Hall tomorrow at 7 pm. Thereafter, various programs will be staged every day till August 19, marking India’s cultural diversity. ICC President PN Baburajan said that celebrations are planned in various centers of Qatar.

Various organizations and socio-cultural groups from Indian states, Indian school students and unskilled laborers will be part of the artistic programs. On 19th August, the famous Qawali singer from India, Danish Hussain Badayuni, will be the finale of the Qawali celebration program. ICC President PN Baburajan, Organizing Committee Chairman AP Manikanthan and Coordinator Suma Mahesh participated in the press conference.
