Azerbaijan and Israel discussed expanding cooperation in the field of digital technologies.
Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on the X social network, as reported by Day.Az on Thursday.
The publication notes that a meeting took place with the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yaakov Blitshtein.
“We explored opportunities to expand our joint economic activities in the following areas: joint investment projects with Israeli companies, strengthening relations with the business community, and strengthening cooperation in trade, industry, innovation and digital technologies,” the publication says.
It should be noted that according to the data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, the trade turnover between the two countries in January-May of this year reached 921.66 million US dollars. The share of exports was 909.941 million US dollars, and the share of imports was 11.719 million US dollars.
