Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are the locomotives of regional integration.
As reported on Thursday by Day.Az with reference to Trend, this was stated by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel during the Azerbaijani-Kazakh agricultural forum.
“Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are strategic partners. The countries cooperate in all areas, including transport, logistics, investment, and defense. Recently, Kazakhstan hosted exercises where the largest military contingent after the host country was from Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are implementing major projects that are important not only for us, but also for the region. Our countries are the engines of regional integration,” the ambassador emphasized.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are planning to begin exporting Kazakhstan’s “green” energy through the territory of Azerbaijan.
“It is symbolic that Baku is hosting the COP29 climate conference this fall,” he added.
It should be noted that today the Azerbaijani-Kazakh agricultural forum is being held in Baku at the Kazakh embassy.
