Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will discuss joint export of agricultural products to the world market.

As reported on Thursday by Day.Az with reference to Trend, this was stated by the director of the Center for Agrarian Innovations under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Anar Jafarov, during the Azerbaijani-Kazakh agricultural forum.

“Azerbaijan buys grain from Kazakhstan. We must discuss the issue of joint export of our products to world markets,” he emphasized.

According to him, the countries actively cooperate within the framework of international organizations, including the Organization of Turkic States (OTG). Thus, the Azerbaijani city of Guba is currently the agricultural capital of the OTG.

“I would like to note that today about 20 of the largest companies are participating here. They are interested in implementing projects both in Azerbaijan and in joint projects with Kazakhstan,” added Jafarov.

It should be noted that today the Azerbaijani-Kazakh agricultural forum is being held in Baku at the Kazakh Embassy.
