According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov held a meeting with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Saudi Arabia Hassan Moezheb AlkhvaizinDay.Az reported on Tuesday.
The successful development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia was noted at the meeting. It was emphasized that there is a favorable environment for investors in Azerbaijan, and the importance of the project implemented in Azerbaijan by the Saudi Arabian company ACWA Power in the field of alternative and renewable energy was noted.
It was mentioned that the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia joint business council is an effective mechanism for realizing opportunities for expanding investment cooperation and increasing bilateral trade turnover.
The importance of deepening joint activities to diversify the economy and ensure sustainable development in our countries was emphasized.
In addition, the parties discussed issues of encouraging bilateral investment and trade relations, the creation of joint ventures, and the possibility of investors from Saudi Arabia participating as residents in industrial parks of Azerbaijan.
