The complexity and organization of weapons neutralized or seized as a result of anti-terrorist operations exposed Armenia’s attempts to portray military personnel in Karabakh as local militias or armed civilians.
Day.Az reports that the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov said this while speaking at the hearing of Armenia’s appeal against Azerbaijan at the International Court of Justice.
He noted that the most obvious indicator of the security threats posed by the Armenian forces in Karabakh is the amount of weapons destroyed or seized during the operation, as well as the amount of weapons and advanced technology military equipment found throughout Karabakh:
“Azerbaijan invited the UN to document these military means, to assist in the disarmament process and to document Armenia’s illegal activities for the whole world.”
It should be noted that Armenia’s claim against Azerbaijan is being considered at the International Court of Justice today.
