A member of the Azerbaijani national tumbling team, junior Alexey Karatashov reached the finals of the European Championships in trampoline, double mini-trampoline and tumbling, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation reported to Day.Az on Friday.
The European Championship takes place on April 3-7 in Guimarães (Portugal).
Let us recall that earlier a member of the Azerbaijani trampolining team, Ali Niftaliyev, reached the semi-finals of the junior competition. Among adult athletes in trampolining, Seljan Makhsudova won a spot in the semi-finals.
Members of the Azerbaijani national acrobatic jumping team Tofig Aliyev and Mikhail Malkin, performing in the adult age category, reached the finals of the championship. Also in the team competition, the Azerbaijani acrobatic jumping team won a ticket to the finals. The team included Tofig Aliyev, Mikhail Malkin, Bilal Gurbanov and Adil Hajizadeh.
