An event dedicated to the results of the theater season was held at the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater, Day.Az reports.
The theater director, honored cultural worker Rashad Ahmedzade noted that a number of projects have been implemented in the current theater, premieres have been presented, successful performances have taken place at international festivals and conferences in Turkey, Georgia and Russia, tours have been held in the regions of Azerbaijan, master classes have been held, and memorandums of cooperation have been signed. Among the most popular performances are “Müsyö Jordan və Dərviş Məstəli şah”, “Məlikməmməd”, “Dovşanın ad günü”, “Ələddinin sehrli çırağı”, “İtki”, “Melisa”, “Lokomotiv və vaqonlar”.
The theater also hosted the closing of the third International Puppet Theater Festival “Hadi Poyrazoğlu və Qaragöz”, which was held in April in the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Ankara, and also hosted a tour of the Karakalpak State Puppet Theater of Uzbekistan.
In conclusion, a number of representatives of the creative team were awarded certificates of appreciation.
