In accordance with the training plan for the current year, approved by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, special tactical exercises with units and subunits of the Special Forces on the topic “Conducting combat operations in conditions of snowdrifts and severe frosts” continue.
As Day.Az reported on Friday, information about this was disseminated by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.
“The special forces, who made tactical redeployments on skis in the highlands, completed tasks of rock climbing and overcoming obstacles in snowy terrain, providing first aid to a wounded soldier, evacuating him with vehicles designed for difficult terrain, and other special operations tasks.
During the special tactical exercises, the special forces demonstrated high professionalism,” the department said in a statement.
