He noted that the dynamic social environment of Azerbaijan, the transformation of our state into the center of attention of the world, first of all, had a serious impact on the activities of the Azerbaijani media, and created a serious information base for it to increase its professional activity not only within the country, but also in shaping the international media agenda.
“Holding of COP29 in our country was another manifestation of Azerbaijan’s day-by-day increase in international prestige, taking on new roles and responsibilities in the implementation of regional and global projects.
In terms of effective coverage of COP29 dedicated to climate change, which is considered the world’s number one global problem by the UN, and the establishment of an effective media and communication mechanism in terms of fully informing society about its nature and importance, it was of exceptional importance for the correct formation of public opinion.
Our analyzes show that all media subjects of Azerbaijan demonstrated high professionalism during the biggest event in the history of our independence, and spared no effort in providing information to both local and foreign audiences.
