Under the auspices of the General Supervisor of King Fahd Hospital and Al-Aziziyah Children’s Hospital in Jeddah, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Bagbir, Deputy General Supervisor Dr. Essam Sadaqa Qandiya, and in the presence of a number of directors of departments and sections, inaugurated an awareness-raising event for mental health with the slogan “Mental health is a global priority for all” today, Thursday, October 13, 2022 AD in the celebration hall at Al-Aziziyah Hospital for children in Jeddah.
Where the departments of mental health, communication, relations, health awareness, therapeutic nutrition, nursing services, social service, and the Sisterhood Association in Jeddah participated in this important occasion, and the psychological awareness pillars were established.
The establishment of this mental health event aims to enhance the concept of mental health in all departments and sections of the hospital and to consolidate the importance of psychological support for humans and its impact on all society and health institution workers.
On the other hand, Dr. Issam Qandeh expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the participating departments and to those who attended the event, explaining the importance of such awareness-raising events because of their strong and healthy psychological impact, promising that Al-Aziziyah Children’s Hospital in Jeddah will be a pioneer in the awareness work for all hospital staff.
In the same context, the psychologist Kholoud Al-Harbi pointed to the benefits of mental health in reducing the level of stress and anxiety and reducing the psychological depression of the individual at work.
This event witnessed an intense presence of the hospital staff and all the medical departments, as well as a number of hospital patients, and souvenirs and psychological awareness clips were distributed to them, as well as raising their awareness through the psychological and social specialists present at the event, as well as from the Sisters Association in Jeddah.
