BA losers study for MA; Complaint | Sanskrit University

by time news

Thiruvananthapuram: Complaints have been received that those who failed the BA examination at Sanskrit University and regional centers are studying for MA. The temporary admission to the MA was given to those who were expecting the results of the graduation examinations. The condition is to produce the certificate of passing the graduation examination on completion of the admission process.

But many of those who got admission failed the BA. The MA class started in September. The complaint alleges that the university allowed the losers to continue their studies. It was also decided to conduct a special re-examination for the losers, bypassing the rules. Contract teachers will lose their jobs if the number of students decreases. It is alleged that the losers were allowed to stay in the MA to avoid this.

The losers are required to appear for the supplementary examination next year as per the rules. Instead, the Save University Campaign Committee asked the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sanskrit to cancel the special re-examination as it was against the university rules and not to allow further study.
